What is the Alo Grant?

Acuity Insights has reserved funds to support research that will strengthen Learner Selection and Program Development. We are investing in individuals or departments to initiate and complete a research project in:

Learner Selection

This may include work that focuses on the advancement of admissions-related knowledge to improve things such as recruitment, screening, selection, or improving understanding with relationships to in-program performance.

Program Development

This may include work that focuses on the advancement of processes or technologies to improve the development and evaluation of educational program management. For instance, this can be for the purposes of outcomes management, learner / faculty development, competency-based education integration, or curriculum mapping.

Diversity Equity & Inclusion

Projects that focus on diversity, inclusion, and belonging in the field of education. This may include research that identifies or strives to eliminate systemic barriers that impede career advancement, or fosters recruitment or retention of underrepresented groups in the professions.
